Utah’s housing deficit is the third worst in the nation, with more than 61,000 new homes needed to meet growing demand for housing in the state. This is according to a new report released by Up For Growth. Although, historically, the housing shortage has been most acute in America’s biggest coastal cities, this year showed that suburbs, smaller cities and even rural communities are struggling to produce enough housing to meet demand. – Utah Business
